Logistics

Harvard Splash will not be taking place in-person in 2021 due to safety precautions.
Getting Here

Unless absolutely necessarydo not drive. It is extremely difficult to find parking around Harvard's campus. We are not able to reserve any parking space, so if you do drive, you will have to find parking yourself.

We recommend you take the MBTA. Morning check-in is a 4-minute walk from the Harvard stop on the red line.

Parents are not required to accompany students to Splash check-in. (Students coming alone must be extra sure to bring their signed waiver or else they will not be able to participate in the program. Here are the waivers for students UNDER AGE 18 and 18 YEARS OR OLDER.).

Morning Check-in

Students may not attend their first class until they have checked in! Check-in will begin in Emerson Hall at TBD. Enter through the front entrance.

Check-in will be moving to Sever Hall Room 113 around TBD. Students must present their liability form at morning check-in.

Students will receive their schedules, name tags, t-shirts, lunch tickets, and program guide at check-in.

The program fee at the door is $30 and we only accept cash and check. Make the check out to "Harvard Undergraduate Studies in Education." Limited lunch tickets and t-shirts will also be available for purchase at check-in.

Students who have not registered online for Splash will not be able to register at morning check-in.

Food

Lunch will be from TBD. The food will be cheese pizza from Otto's. We will have gluten-free and vegan options.

If you pre-paid for lunch online, you will receive a lunch ticket at check-in. Limited lunch tickets will be available for purchase at check-in. The cost is $5.

There are many restaurants in Harvard Square where you can purchase food as well. You can check out all the options here.

T-Shirts

If you pre-paid for your t-shirt online, you will receive it at check-in. Limited quantities will be available for purchase on the day of. The cost is $10.

Class Changes

Students may add and drop classes at class changes, on the day of Splash. Only students themselves may make changes to their schedule – parents may not make changes for students.

Parents

We do not have any programming for parents and you will not be able to stay in Emerson or Sever Hall, where Splash is being held. If you must stay around campus for the whole day, then you must go to public areas like the Smith Campus Center or the Science Center.
