Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi, my name’s Lincoln, and I’m a Harvard sophomore in Currier House studying biophysics and comedy. I’m not sure what I want to major in yet, but I’m certainly leaning toward the more sciencing side of things. I’m Alabama born and raised, but don't have an accent, and have always been self-conscious about it. I spent last Summer researching jumping spiders and apparently love to talk about it, and this Summer, I'm hitting up open mics in the Boston area and studying origami robotics. Otherwise, on campus, I’m involved in sketch comedy, improv, and HCSUCS (Harvard College SUCS); the stand up comedy group (as one of the co-presidents).

A53: Stand Up Comedy Workshop in Splash Spring 2019 (Apr. 27, 2019)
Stand Up as an art requires a certain degree of wit, honesty, and grit; that's all for prerequisites! In this workshop, we will explore a couple of different forms of stand up along with some exercises to get those comedic juices flowing. This course will be a collaborative, open experience, where we can bounce jokes off each other and develop premises for comedy gold. The goal: everyone can leave the room ready to write a first three-minute set!
