Brief Biographical Sketch:

I was born and raised directly outside the Boston area. I have a passion for both music and art, playing piano and painting since I was five. I took Latin for all four years in high school, eventually completing the AP curriculum. In those four years I've also been a proud member of my Latin club, Certamen team (Latin quiz team), and MassJCL. Additionally I've tutored a few students on Latin grammar and comprehension.

This class sets out to demystify the lives of the ancient Romans, humanizing their way of life by comparing it to our own. By the end, I hope you will leave with an appreciation of a unique culture, perhaps even considering it cool.
